We are Looking for an Account Manager

As an Account Manager at DemandJump, you will be a solution advocate that proactively solves customer problems and identifies opportunities on behalf of the customer and DemandJump. You will drive strategic direction, customer ROI, platform adoption and expansion through proactive thought leadership as well as advocacy. You will be both a consultant and extension of our customer’s marketing team; central to ensuring the success of each customer's unique marketing strategy through effective use of DemandJump’s platform and a thorough understanding of digital marketing best practices.

You will also have colleagues that directly report to you on the DemandJump Professional Services team. These team members are executing on the Paid Digital channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) that key customers entrust us with managing. It is a unique blend of agency-like services with the exciting world of working at a fast-growing technology company. Essentially, you will be the point of contact for many of these key relationships for both our PPC services and marketing advisory / consulting services.

You will have a book of business of 12 - 15 customers, from mid-market sized businesses to global Fortune 500 companies.

This is a cross-functional position that not only works closely with customers of DemandJump, but also across departments within our organization. You must have a willingness to manage and prioritize multiple projects while adapting to many roles/tasks as needed.

This role requires a self starter and an eagerness to work in a fast-paced scale up with significant accountability. You are an expert at managing accounts of PPC services, consulting on marketing strategies, and building relationships with your customers. Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time are essential for this role. What is a typical day at DemandJump like for an Account Manager, a.k.a. Responsibilities?

  • Ensure Professional Services are launching and maintaining Paid Search/Social campaigns effectively and efficiently, with optimal results.
  • Understand customer's marketing goals to develop and, where necessary, help implement a strategic marketing plan that spans multiple digital channels
  • Advise and offer best practices for annual planning (spend and budgets) for SEO, SEM, Display, and Social channels.
  • Work with Strategic Marketing Analysts to identify opportunities for making improvements and recommendations in the customer's digital marketing strategy.
  • Identify and develop revenue growth opportunities within Search, Display, and Social ad networks.
  • Review data and insights from DemandJump’s platform to support digital marketing direction.
  • Build trust and develop strong, long-lasting customer relationships by leading customer meetings and on-sites with confidence.

What does DemandJump look for when hiring an Account Manager?

  • 3-5 years experience in PPC (Google Ads/Bing) and Content SEO best practices
  • 1-3 years of experience leading account relationships and strategic discussions
  • Passionate about customer success and a believer in the power of technology to solve business problems
  • Digital marketing agency experience preferred
  • Great leadership, communication and presentation skills; the ability to engage executive audiences in change management discussions
  • Strong empathy for customers
  • Enthusiasm for digital marketing and an understanding of the industry
  • A strong desire to learn in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment
  • Ability to think on your feet and work autonomously
  • Must possess a collaborative working style and thrive in a team environment
