Job Description

Do you love spreadsheets? Was your favorite birthday present a label maker? Are you energized by working with an enthusiastic creative team and excellent customers? Are you just starting your project managing career? If you’ve answered yes to one or more of these questions, you might be who we’re looking for. Here at DemandJump, we’re looking for a detail-oriented junior project manager to join our team. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits.

For this position, we need someone who is equally comfortable meeting with customers and coworkers or spending time working independently on calendars and assignments. You will be assisting our Senior Project Manager with managing a team of content writers, and liaising between the content team, customer success team, and our customers.

This position is perfect for someone who is ready to start a career in project management. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude—who is ready to jump into a team full of engaged, creative professionals and advocate for our content team to our customers and our customers to our content team.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage and maintain customer relationships in order to accomplish content goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Onboard new customers
• Facilitate the revision process and posting of content
• Help set priorities and assignments for writers 
• Create content delivery timelines and schedules
• Use tools like Monday.com and Google Business Suite to organize project assignments, team calendars, and customer content delivery
• Manage content promotion using marketing automation software, including ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, AgoraPulse, MeetEdgar, LinkedIn, and Facebook Advertising
• Work with the internal content and customer success teams
• Run internal team meetings
• Work closely with the Senior Project Manager
  
  DemandJump has an open work environment, and job performance is judged based on an employee's ability to meet deadlines and actively participate in collaborative creative work. Applicants should be highly motivated, organized, responsible, and possess a strong attention to detail.
  
  As with the rest of the white-collar world, DemandJump has moved to a largely remote model. We are prioritizing hiring a candidate from the Indianapolis area for in-person work from the office approximately one day per week. That said, applicants will be expected to self-motivate and work from home but remain connected with the team via Slack, Zoom, and all of the other wonderful communications technologies we’ve all grown accustomed to since COVID entered our vocabulary.

Requirements

• A college degree (bachelor’s or above) or a similar equivalent
• Applicants should have access to a reliable computer

Compensation

This position is a salaried, full-time position. In addition to the salary, which may in part be based on applicant experience, DemandJump also offers medical benefits and a 401(k) plan. Starting salary in the $40,000 range.
