Job Description

DemandJump is seeking an experienced research-oriented and customer-focused Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

How you’ll succeed:

  • Input to and align with the UX strategy, including industry trends, best practices and standards, feasibility, innovation, and ideation
  • Lead, in collaboration with other stakeholders, internal and external including direct customer research on UX and utilize insights
  • Ensure analytics and data are used to support decision making
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to get projects/product improvements delivered
  • Have a deep understanding of web/UI/UX principles and related web application technologies and trends
  • Practice and be an advocate for user-centric & data-validated product design & development, ensuring that users and data are at the heart of decision making, working closely with Product Development team to ensure that design is considered at the right time in any new projects
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Sales to understand customer needs and ensure optimal go to market and acceptance of new and enhanced user functionality
  • Participate in any other Product Management and UX team initiatives as required

Responsibilities: 

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create and manage product strategies, roadmaps, user stories, epics, and backlogs
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Work with product marketing to drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define product metrics, research markets opportunities, and define value
  • Develop/commission user guides, marketing or presentation training materials

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Product Management
  • A balance of quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • A bias towards learning and experimentation
  • Evidence of customer focus, with experience of working closely with customers to gain insight and to integrate feedback into strategy and designs
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Knowledge of industry tools like Jira and Confluence
  • An appetite to learn as much as you can, and pitch in where needed
  • Collaborative mind-set, with evidence of broad stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
  • Stakeholder management skills with an ability to build confidence
  • Must be able to execute at speed, under pressure with accuracy
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present to large groups
