Senior QA Engineer

Overview:

The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with our functional and development teams to ensure the systems built and maintained meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be a strong team contributor, eager to learn, relentless in developing their craft as a software professional, will seek other’s experience, and will find great satisfaction in the patient pursuit of excellence.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of software quality assurance experience
  • Experience using version control such as Git
  • Experience using one or more testing suites (Selenium, Postman, JUnit, Cypress, Protractor)
  • Experience in data management (SQL, HQL, XML, JSON)

Extra Consideration for Experience with:

  • Modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, etc
  • Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax)
  • One or more high level languages such as Java, Scala, or Python
    Kafka, Kinesis
  • Testing platforms on Amazon AWS
  • Building or configuring data validation and verification tools

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Work in a fast paced environment to deliver multi-tiered, enterprise-level, distributed applications
  • Adhere to development best practices
  • Create and maintain manual and automated testing for the Traffic Cloud platform
  • Assist architects with data quality and validation efforts
  • Assist developers and operations in diagnosing issues
  • Perform code reviews of automated tests
  • Perform reviews of test scripts
