Role Summary

This role requires an eagerness to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with significant accountability. You will be on the front lines of growing DemandJump’s share of the market. You are an expert at qualifying, consulting, and scheduling introductory calls/demos. Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time are essential for this role. What is a typical day at DemandJump like for an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR), a.k.a. Responsibilities?

• Using multiple strategies and channels, including account research, phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and video, to lead initial outreach to inbound leads
• Developing a good understanding of our Insights and Marketing Attribution solutions in order to communicate key value props to prospects
• Identifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customer and qualifying the prospect's interest in solving problems that DemandJump addresses
• Managing and overcoming potential buyer objections
• Scheduling an average of 4-5 introductory meetings/demos per week
• Being proactive in communicating cross-functionally between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to help us translate market feedback into our go-to-market approach and product roadmap
• Organizing and assigning leads in DemandJump’s CRM (Salesforce). This includes maintaining proper records, activities, and reports/forms for accuracy and historical reference, and will require strong attention to detail
• Developing and executing creative new ways to re-engage leads which have gone cold
• A/B testing on different outreach cadences for continued iteration and improvement
• Staying on top of the MarTech space to learn about new trends and increase your ability to differentiate DemandJump from competitive solutions

What does DemandJump look for when hiring Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR)s?

• Experience working in SaaS (1-3 years preferred, graduating seniors accepted)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven attention to detail
• Familiarity with Google Apps, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo/DiscoverOrg, SalesLoft, and Salesforce
