Role Summary

This role requires an individual that is excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment with significant opportunities for growth and experience. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) your goal is to become an expert at qualifying, consulting, and scheduling introductory calls and demonstrations in order to grow DemandJump’s share of the market. Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time are essential for this role. Responsibilities

As a SDR, you are the first engagement our customers will experience in our sales funnel. You will be tasked with managing both inbound leads and driving outbound efforts while working directly with your Account Executive to bring qualified leads into the pipeline. Some of the day to day tasks that you will be expected to navigate are:

  • Using multiple strategies and channels, including account research, phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and video, to lead initial outreach to inbound leads
  • Partnering with your Account Executive on account plans, strategies, and how to navigate markets
  • Developing a foundational understanding of Pillar Based Marketing and how the DemandJump solution differs from what is on the market today
  • Identifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customer and qualifying the prospect's interest in solving problems that DemandJump addresses
  • Managing and overcoming potential buyer objections
  • Scheduling an average of 6-8 introductory meetings/demos per week
  • Organizing and managing leads in DemandJump’s CRM (Hubspot). Including but not limited to maintaining proper records, activities, and reports/forms for accuracy and historical reference
  • Developing and executing creative new ways to re-engage leads which have gone cold
  • A/B testing on different outreach cadences for continued iteration and improvement
  • Staying on top of the Market shifts to learn about new trends and increase your ability to differentiate DemandJump from competitive solutions



Qualifications

  • Experience working in SaaS is preferred
  • 1 +/- year(s) of experience in sales is preferred, graduating seniors accepted
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with significant attention to detail
  • Experience communicating with external stakeholders and/or educating groups of people
  • Self-motivated and able to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines to achieve results
  • Ability to think on your feet and work autonomously
  • Must possess a collaborative working style and thrive in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm and understanding for digital marketing, content and SEO preferred
  • A growth mindset with the willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Familiarity with Google Apps, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Contact Databases
